About Metronome: Tempo Lite

Metronome: Tempo Lite is the free way to access a professional-grade metronome built for accuracy, stability, and musical precision. Whether you're learning an instrument, perfecting your timing, or composing complex rhythms, this app delivers everything you need without unnecessary complexity.

Stay locked in with rock-solid timing. The engine is engineered from scratch for high accuracy, ensuring your practice sessions stay on beat. Visual feedback through pulsating LEDs keeps you visually aligned with the tempo, while three distinct sound sets give you variety across different practice scenarios. Tap tempo lets you set your speed instantly, with a range from 10 to 400 BPM covering everything from slow ballads to blazing fast passages.

Create sophisticated rhythms beyond basic beats. Eight different time signatures—including 1-5/4, 3/8, 6/8, and 9/8—let you work in whatever meter your music demands. Six rhythm patterns for simple meters and three for compound meters give you flexibility. Flashing LEDs do double duty as buttons, letting you customize accents or silence specific beats to build complex polyrhythmic patterns.

Track your progress and structure your sessions. Count bars as you play or set a time limit and stop automatically when you reach it. Coach Mode alternates between sounding and muted bars to strengthen your internal timing. Automatic tempo adjustment every n bars or n seconds challenges your adaptability. Portrait and landscape modes adapt to your setup, and multitasking support means playback continues seamlessly even when you switch apps.

Metronome: Tempo Lite gives you professional features in a clean, single-screen interface. Upgrade whenever you're ready for the full feature set.
